Freelance Communications Co-ordinator, Transform (Leeds)

Transform is excited to be seeking a freelance Communications Co-Ordinator to support the company with marketing and engagement across a variety of projects. We are looking for someone with experience in marketing and communications for cultural events – be that performance, arts and community events, club nights or festivals – if you have a passion for reaching audiences and communities – this role might be for you.

This role would be suitable for someone with an interest in marketing cultural events and festivals. You’ll will need demonstrable experience in utilising digital, social media and print to reach audiences, supporting community engagement and participation campaigns, and developing innovative and compelling ways to spread the word about projects and events. You will be committed to inclusion and ensuring that marketing approaches are both accessible and authentic. You will need a curiosity to discover and learn about Transform’s work and the ability to concoct imaginative ways to communicate effectively and authentically with audiences. A sharp eye for detail, strong written and communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines is essential. Ultimately, you will be committed to working with others to make bold, brave, vivid and socially-conscious performance happen and will ensure Transform’s work reaches a wide and diverse audience across the Leeds City Region and beyond.

Key Details
- Freelance contract between September-December 2021
- Fixed Fee of £5000 (based on circa 37 day’s work)
- Potential of extension for Spring 22/onwards, subject to funding
