The first Family Arts Leadership Symposium will bring together current and emerging organisational leaders from across the cultural sector to engage in some of the big issues affecting our work and shape the future landscape for family arts. Highlights from the programme include:
•Director of the Clore Leadership Programme, Hilary Carty, who will be reflecting on the changing face of cultural leadership
•Co-Director of the Cultural Learning Alliance’s Lizzie Crump discussing the impact of cultural education policy and practice on the sector
•Insights from Dr Leila Jancovich, Programme Leader for the MA in Culture, Creativity & Entrepreneurship at the University of Leeds, who will be discussing power and decision-making in the arts.
•We will also hear from some of the region’s cultural leaders across a range of art forms in our Directors in Conversation session.
The event is open to current and future leaders across the sector and will be an opportunity to engage with some of the strategic priorities relating to leading an inclusive organisational culture.
