Extend Leadership Programme 2017-18

Do you aspire to leadership in the arts and cultural sectors?

Applications for the 2017-18 Extend Leadership Programme in England and Wales are now open. (Applications for participants in Scotland will open w/b 20 March).

Extend is a cross-arts leadership programme for mid-career professionals to acquire and apply leadership skills, working with a cohort of peers from across England, Wales and Scotland.

Through a combination of intensive residentials, opportunities to explore aspects of leadership through group projects, mentoring and personal development planning, participants gain opportunities to explore and reflect upon their current practice, to meet with inspiring leaders in the sector, to develop their own projects and to plan for the future.

Dates: April 2017 – March 2018

‘Working with a range of participants from different art forms is excellent - I have found so many parallels between my work in the visual arts and peers working in theatre. Time to spend reflecting on my current practice, following on from presentations during the residential and conversations with peers has been great.’ (previous Extend participant)
