Events Training Survey deadline extended to Wednesday 15 July

Don’t miss your chance to let the Council know what areas of event training would be most useful to your group/organisation!

Kirklees Council’s Creative Economy Team is planning to deliver some free event training sessions aimed at helping groups organise and deliver safe and successful events. The training sessions are aimed primarily at those organisations or groups planning public entertainment/leisure events such as parades, galas, festivals and concerts. The sessions will be planned to take place towards the end of this year – likely to be October to December 2015. The two main purposes of the survey are;

• To get some feedback as to what subjects would be most useful to groups
• To find out when the sessions would be most accessible for groups

If you are interested, please take part in the short survey. DEADLINE EXTENDED to Wednesday 15th July 2015. Once the survey has closed, the results will be analysed and, in due course, we will contact everyone about what form, where and when the sessions will take place. Please feel free to forward this information to any Kirklees groups/organisations you think might be interested.
