ENGAGE the Trail project
ENGAGE the Trail is a proposal to initiate a series of mobile photographic workshops and exhibitions that engages as many of the Trans Pennine Trail visitors as possible through participation in creative, fun, learning activities.
The Trans Pennine Trail is an internationally recognised and exciting route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders linking the North and Irish Seas, passing through the Pennines, alongside rivers and canals and through some of the most historic towns and cities in the North of England.
ENGAGE the Trail's proposal is to initiate a series of mobile photographic workshops and exhibitions that engages as many of the Trans Pennine Trail visitors as possible through participation in creative, fun, learning activities. These events and activities will take place directly out on the Trail and visit the surrounding communities of the Trans Pennine Trail. Using photography as a familiar and accessible creative platform they aim to enable participants, visitors and surrounding communities to enhance their experience and, form a deeper understanding of what an environment like the Trans Pennine Trail can offer.
ENGAGE the Trail needs a little kick of funding to start the ball rolling - to find out more about the project and how you can contribute go to https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/engagethetrail/engage-the-trail/description
