Leeds 2023 are looking for a professional designer with experience in art direction to design the bid document for the Leeds 2023 bid for European Capital of Culture, which will also be published online.

We are looking for a professional designer with experience in art direction to design a compelling print document for the Leeds 2023 Bid for European Capital of Culture which will also be published online.

Drawing on existing Leeds 2023 brand guidelines, you will design the 80-page bid document to the guidelines set out by the European Commission and manage both photography commissions and the subsequent print production

The final bid document will be easy to read and uncluttered with a focus on legibility and avoiding designs that could serve to distract from our brilliant plans, being cognisant that it primarily needs to convince the panel of 12 European judges

The Leeds 2023 team will submit a first-stage bid by 27th October 2017. We are flexible to negotiate your start date and work pattern, however, you must available to start work with us no later than 22nd June 2017 and to be available to work on the majority of the bid design throughout August, September and the first half of October.

Deadline for Expressions of Interest midnight 18th June.
