Kala Sangam are looking for freelance Creative Movement and Storytelling Practitioners, Details are below:
Kala Sangam is seeking experienced freelance creative movement and storytelling practitioners to lead a range of workshops in primary and secondary schools.
Kala Sangam is an intercultural arts hub which aims to reflect the diversity of contemporary Britain through the work we present, the artists we support and the communities we engage. Most of our work takes place in our Arts Centre in the heart of Bradford’s Little Germany cultural quarter with our outreach activities extending across the region. With an established history of delivering projects and workshops in schools, we use our expertise as a leading arts and cultural organisation to inform and inspire our younger generation.
Person specification:
• Experience working on creative workshops/projects in schools (preferably working in both primary and secondary settings).
•Experience of delivering cross-curricular workshops in schools (using arts to explore other subjects in the curriculum) is desirable.
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS check.
• Practitioners must be able to travel throughout West Yorkshire.
