Creative Learning Officer, Hull Truck Theatre

Hull Truck Theatre is looking for a creative and dynamic individual to work as part of their Creative Learning team to support their ambition of making our theatre a vital part of their young people and communities’ lives.

Job Description:

To work with the Associate Director (Creative Learning) to design and deliver parts of Hull Truck Theatre’s Creative Learning Programme ensuring all are linked to Hull Truck Theatre’s Artistic Programme and core values of Inclusion, Innovation and Integrity. Hull Truck Theatre’s Creative Learning work includes youth theatre, outreach, community engagement, schools work, and bespoke learning & participation projects.

Members of the Creative Learning team work across all areas of the department and are expected to make all our work accessible to all sectors of the community.

It is an exciting time to join the team as they continue their journey following an exceptional year as part of Hull UK City of Culture 2017. This is a creative job in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment.

The team includes the Associate Director (Creative Learning), two Creative Learning Officers, a Community Engagement Officer, and freelance practitioners and facilitators.
