Co-op Local Community Fund re-opens (UK)

The Co-op Local Community Fund distributes money raised from own brand products and carrier bag sales to local good causes chosen by its members. The next round of funding is now open and applications forms are available on the website. The Co-op will choose up to three Projects to support in each community. These will be displayed in store and online, so that Co-op members can choose which Project they want to support in the community.

Previous projects funded include:
• Meanwood Valley Urban Farm to continue educational work with school children and disabled people in Leeds.
• Starter Packs Glasgow to provide everyday essentials for people starting to live independently and a contribution to the new station for Southport Lifeboats.
