Call out for Huddersfield Poets

Are you a poet based in Kirklees? Sophie Patel is currently searching for poets to start up a poetry group called 'Huddersfield Poets.'

The purpose of the group is to build a community of poets in Huddersfield. The group would regularly meet to recite their own or favourite poems and possibly participate in workshops, even creating your own.

Sophie is hoping to lead this group with plans to eventually help grow reputation and following by performing poetry in venues and at events, such as open mic nights.

The ultimate aim is to bring diversity and communities together, expressing this through poetry amongst other poetry lovers and creating a sense of belonging.
