Call Out for Artists

The Civic Scratch is an informal chance for theatre-makers, choreographers, spoken word artists, musicians, comedians, writers and performers to showcase new work and try it out, in front of a live audience at the Civic. The audience are asked to give feedback, answer questions set by the performers and are encouraged to hang around afterwards to chat about the work.

The Civic are looking to host up to 4 companies/ artists from the Region.

All work submitted must be suitable must be work in progress and a maximum of 25 minutes in length.

If you are an artist/company and are interested in applying please complete the Scratch Proposal Form.

Completed proposal should be received by 5.00pm Monday 4 September 2017
Selected artists will be informed by Friday 8 September 2017
