BFI Film Academy for 16-19 yr olds
The BFI Film Academy Bradford includes filmmaking workshops, practical sessions and talks with highly regarded, award-winning industry professionals. All participants get to make a short film collaboratively in small crews from conception of an idea through to project managing the screening the films in a premiere at the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford.
Open to all young people aged 16-19 years not studying at University, the Film Academy network is devised by the British Film Institute and delivered in Bradford by Reel Solutions with the support of the University of Bradford and Bradford College. The joining fee is £25 however there are bursaries available to cover this cost and other costs such travel and childcare can be covered.
Closing date for applications: Monday 14 January, 23:59pm 2018.
Successful applicants will be informed on Friday 19 January 2018.
