Artist Opportunity - Ferens Artist Led Programme, Heritage Learn
Heritage Learning are seeking practicing artists to help to reimagine the schools offer for the Ferens Art Gallery.
Description
Heritage Learning are looking for visual artists working in the mediums of painting, drawing, print making and sculpture to submit proposals for the development and delivery of practical sessions for KS1- KS4 students.
Artist Key Responsibilities
• To develop an 1-2 hour workshop working with Heritage Learning and with the Ferens’ Schools Working Group .
• To deliver workshops to KS1-KS4 classes within the gallery/ learning space for a maximum of 35 participants
Required Experience / skills
• Established, practicing visual artist
• Painting/ drawing/ sculpture/ print making forms / informs a key element of your artistic practice
• Experience in the delivery of art education for KS 1/ KS2/KS3 or KS4
• A current DBS
Artist Fee
• Fixed fee to develop Workshop offer: £1,000 (based on 4 days @ £250 per day)
• Additional Workshop facilitation fee- @ £250 p/d (dates to be confirmed) should your programme be booked by schools
• Please note a separate budget is available for purchasing materials however additional travel expenses will not be covered
