Administration Coordinator, Royal Opera House Bridge
£25,000 per annum, full-time (40 hours per week)
Fixed-term contract until March 2018, based in Purfleet
The Royal Opera House is part of Arts Council England`s network of `Bridge` Organisations, providing a bridge between the arts and education sectors, and supporting the goal of enabling every child and young person to have the opportunity to experience the richness of the arts. The Royal Opera House Bridge operates across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and North Kent.
We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Administration Coordinator to join our busy team. Reporting to the ROH Bridge Senior Strategy Manager, the role provides comprehensive and proactive administrative support to the ROH Bridge team, overseeing the day-to-day administration of the programme, providing PA support to senior managers and fulfilling the role of office manager.
The successful candidate will be an effective team player and able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
Sustained experience of office administration and PA support work in a busy office.
Experience of financial and contract administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders in a range of settings.
Proven capacity to work under pressure and manage a busy workload.
The ability to assimilate new information and good problem solving ability.
Very strong Microsoft Office skills and experience of data entry.
This role will be based at the Royal Opera House Learning and Participation office at the High House Production Park in Purfleet, with a requirement for occasional travel within the Bridge region and some work at Covent Garden. There will be an opportunity to have a tour of this site as part of the interview process.
