Community Arts, Three Rivers Community Arts Development

Three Rivers District Council are proud to provide a high quality, thriving Arts Development programme for residents living in the district and across the county.

We host regular exhibitions and creative workshops from our gallery Artistsmeet in Rickmansworth, many of which support local schools and community groups, as well as celebrate local and national campaigns like Open Studios and The Big Draw.

Popular term/holiday time activities include Picture This..! Photography Walks for families, Art Box activities for young people and Creative Textiles classes for adults.

We also centre a lot of our work around celebrating local heritage and coordinate a number of projects and Heritage Day events for targeted groups and the general public.
Promoting positive mental health and well being through the arts is one of our main priorities and we're delighted to be piloting 'Making It', a programme of Arts on Prescription projects for adults living with poor mental health, and 'Making It Mini' for early years children and their parents/carers.
We also work with Day Care provision and providers for older people living with dementia.
