Glass Engraving Course at Cockington Court
A wonderful opportunity to explore exciting ways of making marks on glass through drill engraving, one of the most accessible styles of glass engraving. This technique involves the use of a small hand held drill engraver which carves lines into the surface of the glass. Through a mixture of discussion and hands on demonstrations students will be made familiar with engraving drills, diamond burrs and how to handle engraving on both flat and shaped glass.
Over the course of the day our glass expert Melanie Beer will guide you through a variety of different projects which will include engraving your own glass tile, tumbler and vase. This is a an ideal chance to create a unique artwork, whilst learning a fun new skill.
Seachange Craft Studios is set within Cockington’s award winning country park, a paradise of woodland walks.
Entrance to Cockington’s Grade II Manor House is free of charge, explore its beautiful walled garden, Norman church, ornamental ponds and a special play area for children of all abilities.
