All equipment and materials are supplied. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day, please bring your own packed lunch; alternatively visit the nearby cafe or pub. A free on site car-parking permit is also included.

Description:
The course is intended to be an introduction to glass engraving providing the first steps to an enjoyable creative past time.

Learn and experiment throughout the day within a relaxed, small and friendly group. You will be free to create your own designs and explore ideas with lots of personal attention.

The day is fully hands on and as well as learning the basic principles of glass engraving, you will make up to three items to take home with you. This is an ideal way to create a unique piece for a loved one whilst learning a new skill at the same time.

Tutor:
Melanie Beer is a professional artist and tutor. She designs and creates work for both public spaces and private commissions. She is a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and trained at Plymouth College of Art where she was awarded a Masters Degree in Contemporary Craft and a BA Honours Degree in Glass.
