Doncaster Art Fair returns for th December edition

The second edition of the Doncaster art fair taking place on Sunday Dec 2nd will see Doncaster town centre come alive with about 50 visual artists from a range of media including; Painting, sculpture, illustration, ceramics, mixed media, photography, textile and more.

This unique art fair themed #buyartforchristmas will see the Doncaster businesses, galleries and the general art loving public come out in mass to meet the exhibiting artists to buy, browse, discuss art, eat and drink.

This follows from the successful first edition which took place in September with over 500 people in attendance.

Doncaster art fair represents a new direction for the town’s visual artists and offers a beacon of hope to the 100s of visual artists working and living in the town. With ambitions plans for 2019 and 2020, supported by the Doncaster Chamber of commerce and various local organisations, Doncaster art fair is set to champion the cause of artists in the region.

The December art fair which will take place across 4 venues in the town centre;The Rum rooms, The Magdalen, Marketplace Alehouse,The Queen craft house will see the participating venues welcome guests and visitors for a great cultural day out.

The art fair will open its doors to the public from 11am to 5.30pm and will see the artists participate in some awards.
