From Subject to Story to Sale - How to Find & Develop an Idea so that it's Commissionable.

Turning a raw subject or idea into a commissionable film is the alchemy at the heart of all programme-making. This workshop will give delegates a basic methodology for doing it professionally and how to transform a general subject or theme, into a structured form that a television or digital commissioner will understand – and may actually want to invest in.

The session is taught by former BBC producer, Andrew Snell and is part of Hertfordshire ProConnect a programme of support for small creative companies and sole traders working in or aspiring to work in the film and TV industry.

The workshop is fully-funded by Creative England and the European Regional Development Fund.
