Lady of the HouseMy name is Charlotte, I am a local lady who has studied and worked within heritage for almost a decade. I am now a freelance writer and marketing specialist full time.
My first book "Lady of the House: Elite 19th Century Women and Their Role in the English Country House" was published in July 2018.
I am currently writing my second book, "A Single Success" which is about women in the country house who did not marry and who chose an independent life instead. It will be published in Autumn 2019.
I am also working on a number of creative projects around the country house as well as local West Yorkshire history.
