Be More Outdoors is a registered Charity (#1155946) made up of a group of motivated, local individuals whose aim is to engage children and families in outdoor play and learning in natural spaces.
We have 3 acres of woods, wildflower meadow, orchard & growing areas bordered by the river Colne and only five minutes walk from Slaithwaite village centre.
Run in the wildflower meadow, climb trees, sing songs, have fun in the mud kitchen, enjoy a story, do fun art activities, make exciting craft items from natural materials, enjoy hot chocolate & campfire snacks with your family.
Babes in the Wood - Family Forest School for all ages
Colne Valley Bushcraft Club - Family sessions and children's bushcraft qualification
Outdoor parties - For all ages, any theme
Spoon carving and green woodwork
Growing opportunities - For food and wildlife
Outdoor events - Seasonal, onsite and offsite
School sessions - Fun Days and curriculum days, onsite and offsite
