Yorkshire Landscapes

Over the years countless artists have been inspired and moved by the Yorkshire landscape. Huddersfield Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition celebrating the diverse scenery of this vast county, encompassing the natural beauty of the Dales, the rugged grandeur of the coast, the bleak moors of the Pennines and the industrial vistas of the mill towns.

The exhibition shows a selection of artworks from the Kirklees Collection all taking their inspiration from the Yorkshire landscape and encompassing a range of artistic styles. It features stunning artworks by a wide variety of artists of local and international significance including Peter Brook, Trevor Stubley and members of the Staithes Group.
