Huddersfield Art Society - annual exhibition

119th Annual Exhibition 2014

The exhibition will run for 5 weeks, commencing on September 20th and concluding on October 25th. Once again we have been allocated Galleries 3 and 4 at the rear of the building, adjacent to the Education space.

This year I hope we can offer the visitor more of an insight in to the activities that our members are able to participate in. There will be displays of work from the portrait and life drawing groups which will not be for sale or involved in the selection process and a slideshow of photographs of demonstrations, workshops and outdoor painting sessions.

We will also be selling our own cards. The Gallery now has a small shop selling work by selected local makers and artists, there is coffee machine in the lounge area, so the whole experience should be more interesting for the visitor.
