Here at The Princess Theatre in Torquay we have a daytime café, a pre-show bistro restaurant & can provide event catering, all from our magnificent seafront venue. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team, giving support to re-open our beautiful café and bistro, to then offer our patrons an inclusive Theatre Experience.

As a Kitchen Team Member you'll be responsible for preparing dishes to a high standard, developing recipes and planning menus, and for the general management of the kitchen space including maintaining high standards of hygiene. You'll work with a friendly team of Catering Assistants, the Food & Beverage / Catering Manager and the rest of the theatre team in our fun and interesting company. The Princess Theatre holds a prominent position on the seafront, seating 1,491 and hosting a variety of shows including large scale musicals, plays, comedy and music. The Princess Bistro forms part of the building running along the promenade, offering customers and diners a spectacular view across the bay. Operating across two levels, the Bistro is uniquely placed to offer functions and events space and so this role will also be responsible for developing bespoke event catering arrangements.
