Excited that ancient people exploited the ideal qualities of acid bogs to preserve their precious produce, Anna and Claire decided to further their own prehistoric food practice experiments by making and burying homemade butter in a Dartmoor bog.They packed the butter in wooden boxes and tied it in hemp sacks ready for submersion in a " Dartmoor Bog Pantry"
