All levels of ability welcome!

ame and shred the mind present the first ever official skateboard group lesson & hang-out.

Qualified coaches Heidi and Ben will run the taster session at Greenhead Park on the first Sunday in June.

We want all of you to come and tell us what you like for the future of this programme! We’ll play our favourite music and shred together!

No experience necessary, no need to register. Skateboards, pads & helmets provided.
In the next 12 months, ame will be working with Shred The Mind coaches Heidi and Ben to inspire skateboard culture and community in Kirklees, supporting confidence in people and having fun through skateboarding.

We are planning skatepark sessions in dai hall, music performances, DJ evenings, sound art, residency, graffiti and varieties of workshops relating to skateboard culture in 2022/23.

We plan to have special hours for Kids, parents, beginners & marginalised + any level hours, anyone welcome (bring your music if you like).
