Calling all performers,
A.M.A. Theatre Co., based in Letchworth, North Hertfordshire, seeks to expand its pool of local performers for a variety of paid projects throughout the year. These projects encompass a range of engagements, from single-performance murder mystery events to touring productions, including our annual Christmas Pantomime. We have several exciting new ventures planned, including the launch of an audio theatre podcast in Summer 2025.
We are currently casting the roles of Mary Read and Angus McTavish for our brand productions in The Buccaneers Legend. These shows are based on the trilogy of novels and have various iterations, from festival performances and folk band showcases to a full-scale stage musical.
• Mary is approximately 35 years old, a strong singer, and ideally has short blonde hair (though this is not a requirement).
• Angus, also known as "Jock," is a tall, gruff Scotsman who can carry a tune and will be required to wear a false beard and a long-haired wig.

All our projects offer paid opportunities with rates exceeding minimum wage. We also cover expenses, including accommodation and meals, when performers are required to travel. We welcome applications from performers in the Home Counties who can easily reach our Letchworth base, even if their availability is not consistent. Building a pool of actors allows us to cast effectively for each project as needed.
