A bit of a mixture I hear you cry!! Actually, I just love to create and make new things, try out new ideas and inspire others. I have always been creative and studied at Bath College of Higher education gaining a degree in Fashion and Textiles. I then ran a business designing and making wedding dresses. A move, and children meant a change in direction. I now design and make jewellery, teach jewellery making and also love to 'make do and mend' - using old blankets, clothes and other bits and pieces. I also love to be around people, encouraging , inspiring and teaching. It's really satisfying teaching new skills to those who feel inadequate and to see the delight on their faces when they realise that they too can be creative. I believe that we all have some creativity in us, we just don't always have the opportunity or confidence to find it! I am looking for a permanent workshop and base in which to run more sewing and jewellery making courses and to give people that opportunity to discover these things for themselves.
