Under One Sun's formal aims are "To promote greater collective caring about our communities & our environment, and especially issues around differing cultural norms and traditions; equality and justice; and living in harmony with nature. These objects will be achieved through artistic performances and educational activities and will demonstrate that performing arts can be fun, educative and an effective tool for social transformation."

We pursue these aims by putting on dance nights, concerts and workshops featuring artists from around the globe, and roots artists from around the British Isles.
We work with schools, arranging visits by artists to support particular aspects of the curriculum, or curriculum enrichment.

We enjoy working in ad-hoc partnership with individuals and organisations that share our aims.
