Torbay Museums - Volunteers Week
Volunteers Week
Volunteers play an important part of the success of many organisations in Torbay. They support and champion local visitor destinations, community day centres, health services, wildlife conservation, country houses, museums, the Arts, libraries and many more. They contribute a special dynamic and value to organisations and during National Volunteer’s Week we want to champion and recognise these people.
During the week the Torbay Museums will be visiting numerous places in the area showcasing and recognising how volunteers especially support museums. There will be opportunity to talk to staff and volunteers about their experiences and roles. There will be advice on how to also get involved as a volunteer and the opportunities available at the museums this year.
