'The simplicity and poignancy of this white feather snagged on a slender, curving stem of purple moor grass was all the inspiration I needed for this photograph.'
The first International Garden Photographer Of The Year exhibition was held at Kew Gardens, London, and later travelled to the Botanic Gardens of Lacock Abbey, Wiltshire, former home of William Henry Fox Talbot, pioneer of photography.
