POETSfriday previewed Acumen Literary Journal's silver anniversary, with Patrica Oxley, and Brenda Hutchings.
For 25 years Acumen has been publishing poetry from Brixham, and so introducing the English Riviera to the world. Its editor, Patricia Oxley, introduced a selection of seasonal poetry and voices from over 60 issues published since 1985.
BRENDA: says her poetry is like a pair of socks - occasionally one goes missing , but when I find it, it feels good! and describes herself as 'a fitness freak since I was about Ten years old and decided that I had a wobbly bit! I have always loved books, writing stories and poems and am also an artist who likes to work with pastels and acrylics.'
