My name is Oz Bhatti. I am an artist and photographer, currently studying for my BA in Fine Art at Chichester University.

My work, as of recent, fuses the realms of sculpture with those generally embedded in textile practice. I am very open to experimental work therefore I tend to use a vast range of media, particularly this year I am become fond of the idea of up-cycling through artistic practise. The generation of regeneration.

Rather than questioning ‘what is art?’ I find myself drawn to be posing the idea of ‘why can’t this be art?’ Currently I am investigating what fashion is, how it previously has been appreciated or anticipated, and finally, how it could be altered in years to come from a Fine Art point of view

In regards to my photographic practice, I’ve found the juxtaposition between the man-made and the human form has become particularly prevalent. Over the coming months I wish to further investigate this idea of ‘Fine Art Fashion' whilst staying focusing on this idea of regeneration.

In addition to my life as an artist, I am very interested in theatrical practise (both acting, singing and the more behind the scenes design aspect.)
