Art is one of the most subjective activities that we engage in, either as a creator or a viewer. What makes someone want to paint images upon a piece of canvas, or chip and carve away at blocks of rock or marble, or even mould forms out of clay or other organic materials?

Quite simply, art lifts and inspires the human spirit projecting us out of our daily state of normality.

As children we are all graced with the ability of creating art as a way in which we begin to make sense of the world around us. As adults it can become its very own personal language allowing us to convey the deepest of thoughts and emotions, where the unknown, everchanging and unconscious pathways of our internal self manifests itself into a creative physicality.

I was proud to be one of fifty selected global artists to exhibit my work at the 'Prebiennale Venezia' - the international contemporary art exhibition in Venice, being one of two artists representing the United Kingdom.
