Investigative drawings of conker husk forms became a celebration of spikes and flowing lines. Combining this with the introduction of blown glass and large-scale metal-working produced a seemingly precarious and dangerous hanging sculpture. However, installed in a large atrium or tall ceiling will be perfectly safe.
