Red Square has been selected to go on exhibition in New Zealand. It is just a square, a red square, a velvety vermilion square, emerging from chromatic greys which, proud of their charge, glow golden at their extremities.
Red Square, is one of my original carborundum miniprints that has also been accepted for the A4 Open Print Competition at Penryn, Cornwall. This is the first Open International Contemporary Print Competition in South West Cornwall. The exhibition runs from 5 - 9th October, 2010. 'The aim of this project is to show the most innovative methods in Printmaking processes from all over the world, and to promote artists by encouraging new contacts, which we believe to be essential for personal development.'
