Joanna Scott Illustrator
A freelance artist and illustrator working across a diverse range of art platforms. Based just outside St Albans, Joanna has worked as a commercial artist for twenty years on illustration for licence, children’s books and giftware as well as art and light work for site specific installation projects.
She now concentrates fully on her illustration business with past work including textiles via Shreds for Harrods and Selfridges, fine enamels and porcelain for Halcyon Days in Mayfair as well as licensed character redevelopment work for a major children's character.
Recently she has worked on a number of children’s book titles for both print and kindle including ‘The Wrong Coloured Dragon’ for award winning author Lynne Reid Banks as well as extensive illustration work for the Alfred Russel Wallace exhibition at Hertford Museum.
Work has also included live illustration demonstrations for Create and Craft for Sky TV, illustrated props for a major broadcast TV drama, giftware design for The Sherlock Holmes Museum in London and illustrated logos for a new US publisher.
Joanna works directly with publishers, self publishing authors, businesses and festivals.
