Circular saw
2 Old saw blades, cut up and re-assembled to form a circle on the inner ring and an irregular shape on the outer side. The beautiful profiles of the cutting edge of the saw are then highlighted by the positioning. It is riveted together with brass rivets and attached to a square white back board suspended 2cm off it by brass separators. Interestingly some people feel the aggression in it as a cutting instrument, but I love its form and beauty, perhaps because I work with these tools every day and rather than fear them I appreciate their utility, and enjoy seeing the craftsmanship in how they used to make saw blades (and tools in general).
