Greenway, National Trust Greenway, National Trust
This is an extraordinary glimpse into the private holiday home of the famous and much-loved author Agatha Christie and her family.
A relaxed and atmospheric house is set in the 1950s, containing many of the donor family's collections, including archaeology, silver, china and books. Outside you can explore the large and romantic woodland garden, with a restored vinery, wild edges and rare plantings, which drifts down the hillside towards the sparkling Dart Estuary. Regular events and activities include gallery exhibitions, guided tours of the house and garden, outdoor theatre, dinners, children's events, trails and quizzes.
Schools and community groups are invited to contact the property to organise special activities, including outreach talks. Please contact our People Involvement Officer Carly Mays on carly.mays@nationaltrust.org.uk.
For marketing at Greenway please contact our People Involvement Manager Belinda Smith on belinda.smith1@nationaltrust.org.uk or our Marketing and Communications Officer Sabina Collier on sabina.collier@nationaltrust.org.uk.
