Hello and thank you for looking!

I have been a practising artist for over 20yrs and have applied my training in Person-centred art therapy since 2001 to individuals and group settings.
I have a strong belief in the power of creative projects to enhance, uplift and transform people’s outlook on life.
I have held this belief in the healing power of the arts, since I was 15yrs old, born of my own experience of the release and joy I find through making and painting.

Taking the ascetic goal away and allowing yourself to play with colour, line and other mediums (e.g. clay) through instinct and the senses is wonderfully liberating. It becomes enlightening when the unconscious thoughts and feelings are brought into the conscious realm with a physical image as an anchor and self referencing point, through words and movement.

I am currently running two weekly drop in sessions in Bridgetown, Totnes. Tuesday afternoons 12-2pm and Wednesday mornings 10-12.
These sessions involve playful explorations of our feelings and emotions at that present moment through authentic movement, picture making and writing.

My own work comes mainly from a place of intuitive self discovery and a deep love of colour and line. Most recently I have been drawn to tracks in the landscape, the byways that lead us into, through and out of nature.
