POETSfriday is a quarterly event of poetry readings on a chosen theme, with afternoon tea in the beautiful setting of Cockington Court Tea Rooms.
We are fortunate to have many talented poets in South Devon who delight us with readings of their work and well known favourites. Themes to date have included: The English Riveria Geopark, Poetic Justice, Gardens, Poets' picnic, and ekphrastic poetry (poetry inspired by another art form).
The most recent POETSfriday was an open mike event: Saints and Sinners on Saint Georges Day, 23rd April 2010.
