I am a self taught artist/sculptor living in the Broadsands area of Torbay.

I specialise in Raku and smoke firing techniques. I am mainly interested in capturing the expression and attitude of a subject. My work includes figurative, animals and bird forms.
I work from life and photographs. Surface texture, colour and glaze effects/mishaps are an important part of my work, especially the results of the Raku process. Each sculpture is completely unique.
Happy to answer any questions about Raku and my work.
I am a member of the Westcountry Potters Association.

Contemporary Craft Fair, Bovey Tracey.

Dartmouth Art Weekend 19th 20th June.
This is a lovely annual event in aid of the Childrens Hospice Southwest. Artists and craft people demonstrating their various skills . It takes place in the gardens by the band stand.


TRAIL indoor exhibition in Teignmouth opens August 8th ( TRAIL outdoor and Gallery exhibition has now been extended until 19th September to coincide with the Tour of Britain Cycle Race.

My latest Rakupiece is a horse head with a crackle white glaze. Have uploaded an image.
I was working on an American Pitbull titled 'Diesel' to submit for TACO Tamed exhibition at Torre Abbey.
I've posted some images of his progress for anyone interested in the wonders of paper clay.
Unfortunately Diesel wasn't accepted for TAMED - he is now looking for a good home!
Currently working on 'Monty' the Jack Russell.
